Alex Swartz is a senior associate in the firm’s Structured Finance and Derivatives practice.

His practice focuses on working with sponsors, issuers, underwriters, credit enhancers, lenders, and collateral managers on all aspects of privately placed and publicly offered securitization transactions. Mr. Swartz has substantial experience in the securitization of a broad range of asset types, including: residential mortgage loans, commercial mortgage loans, consumer loans, various types of receivables, and rental car fleets. He has also had a significant focus on collateralized debt transactions, such as synthetic, cash-flow, market value, and hybrid CDOs and CLOs.

Mr. Swartz's extensive derivatives experience includes credit derivatives, FX and interest rate swaps, forwards and options and total return swaps, both inside and outside the structured finance context.
