Weil Gotshal partners Randi Singer and Charan Sandhu were inducted into the YWCA’s Academy of Women Leaders at the 36th annual Salute Luncheon held today, November 10, 2009. They are being recognized for their outstanding professional achievement, civic commitment and leadership.

Ms. Singer and Ms. Sandhu join fellow Weil Gotshal partners Andrea Bernstein, Marcia L. Goldstein, Akiko Mikumo, Melanie Gray, Mindy J. Spector, Mary R. Korby, Jacqueline Marcus, Debbie Pearlstein, Lori Fife and Ellen Odoner and Associate Relations Director Lisa Cuevas, as members of the Academy. Stephen Dannhauser, chairman of Weil Gotshal, was named the YWCA-NYC’s first "Man of the Year" in recognition of his leadership in and commitment to diversifying the firm.
The YWCA-NYC Academy of Women Leaders is a distinguished network of nearly 3,000 women. Each year 50 to 70 honorees are newly inducted into the Academy of Women Leaders at the annual Salute Luncheon. The event serves as a tribute by a broad spectrum of companies, professional service organizations and nonprofits to embrace and celebrate the advancement of women and celebrate and demonstrate their commitment to diversity.
