Michaela Schmitt was admitted to practice in 2002. During her studies at the Universities of Frankfurt, Speyer and Lausanne, she focused on international private law (including international procedural law), European law and intellectually property rights. Since joining the Frankfurt litigation practice in March 2003, her activities have allowed her to acquire practical experience and enhance her knowledge in these fields of law. Further, Michaela has participated in several non-performing loan transactions.
Michaela earned a master's degree in international and European commercial law from the University of Lausanne and completed her doctoral thesis on European commercial law at the University of Dresden in 2006.
She is fluent in German, English and French.
