Lucas Spivey is an associate in the Corporate department and member of the Banking & Finance group. Mr. Spivey represents borrowers, private equity sponsors and financial institutions on a wide variety of bank financing transactions, including acquisition financing, cross-border financing, middle-market financing, asset-based lending, sports team financing, securitization financing, debtor-in-possession and exit financing and workouts and restructurings. He also counsels clients on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Mr. Spivey’s recent experience includes being a member of the teams working on borrower representations of Electrical Components International, Inc. in its prepackaged plan of reorganization and debtor-in-possession and exit financings, Nortek, Inc. in its prepackaged plan of reorganization and exit financing, Pilgrims Pride Corporation in its exit financing, Ceridian Corporation and Univision Communications Inc. in their securitization financings, acquisition financings for Providence Equity Partners, Thomas H. Lee Partners, Advent International, HM Capital Partners and Genstar Capital Partners, and Thomas H. Lee Partners' investment in MoneyGram International, Inc. and the restructuring and increase in MoneyGram International, Inc.’s senior credit facilities.
