Lisa R. Eskow

Lisa R. Eskow is Counsel in the firm’s US Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation practice Group. She has represented clients before the United States Supreme Court and in federal and state courts of appeals nationwide, in matters including multidistrict class actions, constitutional challenges, white-collar criminal prosecutions, patent litigation, bankruptcy appeals, and international arbitrations. Ms. Eskow has presented oral argument to the United States Supreme Court, Texas Supreme Court, and numerous intermediate federal and state courts of appeals. Her clients have included UnitedHealthcare, the Republic of Austria, Enron, and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

Ms. Eskow joined Weil Gotshal in 2003 after serving as Deputy Solicitor General for the State of Texas. A former law clerk to the Honorable Pamela Ann Rymer on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Ms. Eskow received her law degree from Stanford Law School and her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, both with highest honors.

Ms. Eskow is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Austin Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits, and the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas.
