Juliet Blanch is a partner in the London Dispute Resolution Group and the head of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice. She is very well regarded in the international arbitration community and plays a key role in various industry organisations, including as Treasurer of the London branch of the European Court of International Arbitration, as Vice Chair of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Inter Pacific Bar Association, as Vice President of the oil and gas section of the Arbitration Club and as a member of the Energy Charter Treaty Legal Action Task Force.
Prior to joining Weil, Juliet held similar positions as head of international dispute resolution at McDermott, Will & Emery where she was Global Head of International Dispute Resolution, and at Norton Rose. She has worked on arbitrations and commercial litigations globally for a wide range of clients (including Koch, Exxon, De Beers, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Russian Government).
Her ranking in legal directories is consistently high for both international arbitration in the UK, Europe and globally, and for the projects and energy disputes category.
