Jonathan Sickler is a senior associate in the Antitrust/Competition practice of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. Sickler provides counsel for all aspects of antitrust law, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as government investigations. In addition to advocacy before the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, he has coordinated merger approval in jurisdictions around the world, including the European Union, Canada, as well as countries in Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa. He has experience in a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical products and medical devices, hospitals, oil and gas, automotive, retail, publishing, printing, and construction materials. Mr. Sickler also has experience in private antitrust litigation, including class action, multi-district suits in various state and federal courts.
Mr. Sickler received his juris doctorate from Harvard Law School in 2002 where he served as a Senior Editor on the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He earned his bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of North Dakota in 1999. Mr. Sickler is admitted to practice in North Dakota and the District of Columbia. He is also an active member in the American Bar Association's Antitrust Section.
