Jason Bonk is a senior associate in the Litigation Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges' New York office. His practice involves an array of subjects in complex commercial litigation. Mr. Bonk has represented clients across a wide range of industries in both state and federal courts and in arbitration. Mr. Bonk has counseled clients and litigated matters involving class actions, contracts, fiduciary duties, securities, employment discrimination, copyright, insurance, healthcare, appeals, bankruptcy, and antitrust.
Mr. Bonk’s practice includes longstanding representations of and relationships with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the banking and healthcare industries, in a variety of contexts. A significant portion of Mr. Bonk’s practice has focused extensively on working with expert witnesses in several different subject matters as a part of high-stakes nationwide litigations.
Mr. Bonk is a leading member of the firm’s E-Discovery Task Force, a role involving both internal and client counseling on cutting-edge issues related to electronic discovery. He is well-versed on evolving discovery trends and is actively involved in the e-discovery legal community.
Mr. Bonk received his B.A. from Brandeis University, where he was a Justice Brandeis Scholar. He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar.
