Emily Wapples is an associate in the London Dispute Resolution group. Emily’s experience has included a range of complex commercial cross-border and general commercial disputes giving rise to issues such as breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, and cross-border insolvency issues.
As part of a team, she has advised:
- MF Global UK Limited on all aspects of the litigation surrounding the new Special Administration Regime in the UK
- Lehman Brothers Holding Inc, Lehman Brothers Special Financing and other Lehman entities in various disputes being heard in the English High Court
- A heavy engineering manufacturer in an ICC arbitration in London relating to breach of a long-term supply contract
Emily also regularly provides pro bono legal advice to litigants in person through the Citizen’s Advice Bureau at the Royal Courts of Justice.
