Christy Kailis is a senior associate in the Business Finance and Restructuring practice of Weil, Gotshal & Manges’ London office.
Christy has a wide range of experience in advising debtors and creditors in cross-border restructurings. The more recent cases which Christy has been involved in include: Lehman Brothers, Eurotunnel and Enron. Christy has also advised investors on the restructuring options of the Golden Key and Mainsail II structured investment vehicles as well as the receivers of Mainsail II. She has worked on non-contentious insolvencies including administrations and in relation to the restructuring (which included the appointment of receivers over the shares) of a sub-marine cable network operator.
Christy is admitted to practice in England & Wales and New York, and is also a non-practicing barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
