Prior to RBS, Chris worked as a lawyer, initially spending two years as a trainee solicitor at Norton Rose before moving to Clifford Chance's Structured Finance team upon qualification, where he spent three years executing CLOs, SIVs and RMBS, usually acting as lead arranger's counsel representing clients including HSBC, Barclays Capital, RBS, Standard Chartered, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and Gordian Knot.
