Andrew Chizzik is a senior associate in the firm’s Private Equity practice in New York. He has extensive experience representing US and non-US private investment fund sponsors in structuring and negotiating the terms of domestic and offshore private investment funds. In addition, he has represented private investment fund sponsors and their personnel in connection with various employment and separation agreements as well as in connection with economic sharing arrangements among such persons. Mr. Chizzik also represents certain prominent limited partners in connection with their investments in private equity funds, real estate funds and venture capital funds, as well as buyers and sellers of secondary interests in private equity funds. He also advises fund sponsors generally with respect to the Federal securities laws, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Mr. Chizzik’s representative clients include Brookfield Asset Management, Genstar Capital, Macquarie Bank Limited, Stone Tower Capital, and Ulysses Management.
Mr. Chizzik received his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law in 2004 and his B.S. from Cornell University in 2001.
