Amy M. Rubin is a partner in the Tax practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, specializing in executive compensation, employee benefits, and ERISA matters.
Ms. Rubin regularly represents both acquirers and target companies in private equity transactions and strategic mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Ms. Rubin has extensive experience counseling private and public companies on the negotiation of executive employment and separation arrangements and on the design and implementation of executive and employee compensation plans (both cash and equity based plans) and non-qualified retirement programs. Ms. Rubin frequently lectures on topics relating to executive compensation and employee benefits.
Ms. Rubin has practiced as an executive compensation and employee benefits attorney since 1996. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rubin was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
